8 students of CUET are going to Agder University in Norway for higher education
8 students of Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) are going to University of Agder in Norway for higher education. 4 students for 2 years and 4 for 5 months will travel to Norway this week on full scholarships under CUET's CARE project. The students who are going for two years programs are - Anfaz Islam, Aupi Das and Md. Iftekhar Hossain of EEE department. And Arnab Dash of Mechanical Engineering Department and Anisul Islam Shubo of IET, Bayjid Ahmed and Surabhi Akhtar Nupur of Mechanical Engineering Department, Tanzir Ahmed of EEE Department for 5 months program.
This joint academic student exchange program is being conducted under the Education and Research Grant Agreement executed with CUET under the internationally prestigious CARE Project.
On this occasion, in the afternoon of August 21 (Monday) in the syndicate room of the university's Administrative Building, on the eve of the students' departure to Norway, they made a courtesy call to the CUET Vice chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam and exchanged views with him.
At this time, the Project Director and Coordinator of the CARE project, CUET, professor of Mechanical Engineering department. Prof. Dr. Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem, Dean and Registrar (Additional Duty) of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering spoke at the event. Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, director of research and extension directorate Dr. Sajal Chandra Banik, Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering DR. Kazi Afzalur Rahman, Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Professor of Civil Engineering Dr. Farzana Rahman Juthi, Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. Prasanjit Das, Associate Professor of ETE Department. Md. Saiful Islam were present at the event.

Students who recently completed an exchange program from the University of Agder in Norway were also present on the occasion.
